Kennywood Phantom Fright Nights

Friday and Saturday Nights:October 1 – 30, 2010, 7 PM – 1 AM

Ages 13+

The employees at Kennywood warn patrons that something ghoulish roams the park at night. The Phantom has taken control of the park’s rides, mazes, and all of the classics that are fun during the summers.  But Rider Beware! The Phantom has added scary mazes, new rides, and 3D attractions that will stop even the bravest cold in their tracks!!  (Save $3 by purchasing tickets at Giant Eagle locations) www.phantomfrightnights.com

Haunted HouseScare House

Weekdays 7-10Pm Weekends 7-Midnight

Ages 13+

I will be honest. I love this time of year especially going to haunted houses, but the Scare Houses website gave ME the chills!  Voted as one of the Best Haunted Attractions by the Travel Channel this haunted house is not for the weak.  Tickets can be purchased for $17 online or $18 at the gate.   www.scarehouse.com

Idlewilds’ Hallowboo

October 16 & 17, 23 & 24  11:30am – 6:00pm

Fun for All Ages! It’s the Idlewild you know and love… with a fun, happy Halloween twist!  Specially themed rides, trick or treating through Storybook Forest, hay rides, hedge mazes, costumed characters, and much more!  For park info visit Idelwild’s Website

KDKA ZooBoo For Kids’ Sake

Join KDKA at the Pittsburgh Zoo for Kids Sake! Not So Scary: Festival of Homes

Visit 8 Heartland Homes’ Decorated Models throughout the Pittsburgh area this weekend from 12Noon- 5Pm .  The Festival of Homes will showcase forty-five new home communities in the greater Pittsburgh area, tour Pittsburgh’s most beautiful homes.  Nothing scary about these homes!!
